General description

The GIGA Flow Cytometry Facility helps users to obtain the best results with different flow cytometers analysers. The staff performs cell sorting or cloning on different flow cytometers sorters with the possibility to sort safety (potentially) infected cells such as unfixed human cells or virus infected cells. The staff is available to sort cells or to help and train researchers in all steps, from fluorochrome choice to data analysis. The whole procedure may also be done directly by the staff.

Our equipment includes: 4 FACS analysers, 2 FACS sorters, a flow cytometer for large-sized particles and a bead-based multiplexing X-MAP platform. Our data room is equipped with softwares for cytometric data treatment and analysis like FlowJo, FACSDiva, CellQuest Pro, FACSuite, ModFit, FCap and others.
