• Stronger investment propositions for SMEs thanks to Business Angels Matching Event

    On 13 February 2013 an IN2lifesciences Business Angels Matching Event was organized in Amsterdam. 12 companies from 4 different countries participated. They received a “pitch training” in the morning and had to pitch in the afternoon, followed by informal networking. 40 Business Angels were present. Although no concrete investments have been made yet, SMEs and potential investors are still in touch with each other. The event has contributed to stronger investment propositions for the participating SMEs.

  • Results of the 1st call

    The first call for incentives closed at the beginning of April. The IN2LS Steering Group awarded 18 requests with an incentive. 5 SMEs want to gain better insight in technology and market issues by using an international expert. 13 SMEs are actually going to collaborate with a foreign partner. A wide range of innovation topics will be covered by these collaborations.

    A number of introductions were made during two brokerage events in Stuttgart and Copenhagen. Nearly 50 companies took the opportunity to discuss their innovation needs with IN2LS representatives as well as foreign experts and facilities. 12 other SME's attended a fanincial event in Amsterdam organised by IN2LS and the European Business Angel Network. They received a pitch training and presented their investment needs to a panel of potential investors.

    There will be many new opportunities to meet & match in the coming months.

  • 2nd call for incentives open

    second Call for Incentives opened on 15 May! Applications for this call need to be submitted before 10 July 2013. IN2LifeSciences incentives can be used by SMEs to initiate contact and collaboration with foreign entities that can help them resolve bottlenecks in accessing the technology, market and/or financing that is a key to their innovation strategy.
